testimony booklets included in the "True Light" series will be small
enough that a half a dozen can be carried in a coat pocket or purse at
all times and given out throughout the day. How many times have you
wished you had something you could hand to a waitress, a gas station
attendant, or someone you met in a store, so that they could read your
story and hopefully find Jesus? Now you can do it! Submit your story to
be published in a special line of testimony booklets

Stories of Personal Transformation 
The
first booklet in the "True Light" series is Mike Shreve's
testimony. We hope to mail this out, state-by-state, to every yoga
teacher in North America, over 100,000 people, and purchase New Age
mailing lists to send to them. Praise God! The harvest is
coming!
DIMENSIONS--All
booklets in the "True Light" Series will be the same dimensions: 3.5" x
5.5".
PAGE
COUNT--The
page count of the booklet, once internally designed by one of our
professional graphic artists, must be a multiple of the number "4": at
least 32, and usually no more than 64 pages. The following three sizes
are given as pricing examples.

The
maximum size highlighted in this ad is 64 pages. It is possible to
print a booklet with more pages (68 or 72) but larger booklets may
require a more expensive binding (perfect bound instead of
saddle-stitched / stapled). So we are asking our potential authors to
limit their submissions to no more than 11,000
words.
All
manuscripts accepted for the "True Light" Series will receive:

ARE FREE TO PUBLISH YOUR STORY AGAIN, IN OTHER FORMATS, FOR OTHER
PURPOSES!
WE
ARE LOOKING FOR GREAT STORIES OF PERSONAL
TRANSFORMATION FROM WRITERS WITH BACKGROUNDS, SUCH
AS THE FOLLOWING:
- Testimonies
of deliverance from addictions (drugs or alcohol)
- Testimonies
of conversions from non-Christian religions (Hinduism, Buddhism, Yoga,
New Age, Scientology, Kabbala, Witchcraft, etc.)
- Testimonies
of conversion from sinful lifestyles, such as gambling, crime, or
prostitution
- Testimonies
from people involved in good, decent pursuits, such as sports,
business, education, or any positive vocation, who were still
unfulfilled and searching spiritually
- Testimonies
of recovery from damaging conditions in life (poverty, abuse, natural
disasters, etc.)
- Testimonies
of healings and miracles
- We
also are interested in publishing short studies of important biblical
subjects, such as: true salvation, `redemption, justification, the
afterlife, the coming of the Lord, and so forth that can also be used
as "tract booklets." Studies on basic Scriptural truths would also be
suitable for the "True Light" series.
OTHER
CHARGES--Other
charges may be added to your final bill:
1.
Overage--Any
overage of your print run will incur an extra charge. (It is a normal
practice for printers to exceed the ordered amount of booklets by 50 or
more to compensate for damaged copies. You are responsible to purchase
these extra copies.
2.
Proof
Copies--If
you request a physical proof copy, that will be an extra charge. We
will view the proof copy prior to printing, but will then email you a
digital copy unless you ask to see the paper copy. We actually suggest
the latter, but it is an extra $35.
3.
Image
Insertion--Each
image to be inserted in your booklet is an extra $15.
4.
Shipping--Shipping
and handling will be charged, for proof copies and final shipment.
5.
Bookstore
Sales--When
the booklets are initially assessed, some may be chosen for inclusion
in bookstore promotions and/or to be sold on internet sites such as
Amazon.com. If the author and DRB agree on this taking place, it will
be necessary to add the following to the booklet: ISBN (International
Standard Book Number), LCCN (Library of Congress Control Number), and a
barcode. This is an extra charge of $99.
6.
Copyright
Services--Copyright
services are available through Deeper Revelation Books. We oversee the
submission of your copyright form. All copyright applications are
submitted in the name of the author. Our charge for this service is
$99.
7.
Advanced
Editing--Mechanical
Editing (basic proofreading for typos, misspelled words,
punctuation errors and consistency ) is included in the estimates we
have given. If a booklet requires Substantive Editing
(major research, revision, rewriting, source verification and
permissions, etc.) then an extra editing fee may be incurred.
SUBSEQUENT
ORDERS--Once
your booklets are completely given out, you may reprint at a reduced
rate, with no start-up production costs. For instance, if you initially
ordered 500 of the 32-page booklets, it would cost you $999 for the
first run with all your start-up expenses. However, a second order of
500 booklets would only cost $649.
OUR
PHILOSOPHY--One
of the primary goals of Deeper Revelation Books is to produce gentle
and loving presentations of the Gospel. While we do believe in drawing
a defining line concerning truth, we also believe in treating others
with respect and kindness. We will not publish books/booklets written
with a critical, condemning, sarcastic, confrontational or negative
tone. We also do not allow unnecessarily graphic descriptions of
sensitive subjects. We reserve the right to approve or disapprove any
submissions according to these standards, as well as conformity to our
statement of faith.

paper copies of your manuscript on 8.5 x 11 paper, double-spaced

digital copy on CD in Microsoft Word.

Please
do not try to format your booklet.
Keep it very simple, such as the use of bold, capital letters for
primary heading and bold title-case for sub-headings. Do not vary font
styles: one font only. Do not insert lines, boxes or fancy
graphics. The layout style is already standardized for the "True Light"
Series.
·
Please
include a short biographical statement with information such as your
mailing address, physical address, email address, website, educational
history, vocation in life, church affiliation, and your purpose for
writing and submitting your manuscript (see personal information
download on www.deeperrevelationbooks.org).

Once
your manuscript has been approved, then you will need to send 33% of
the estimated price to begin the project. You may pay by check or by
credit card.

Once
published, according to our contractual agreement, a certain number of
booklets will be stored at our office on consignment, to fulfill orders
for which you will receive royalties.
